Looking for something fun, relaxing, and a little different to do in North Dundas?

Join us at HealthGirl Studio in Chesterville on Friday, November 13, 2026, for our very first Potluck & Craft Night!

We're bringing people together for an evening of delicious shared food, friendly conversation, and beginner-friendly crochet. Whether you've always wanted to learn how to crochet, haven't picked up a hook in years, or simply want to spend an evening connecting with others, you're welcome here.

And don't worry — you don't need to know a single stitch to join us!

What can you expect?

We'll start the evening with a relaxed community potluck, giving everyone time to enjoy some food, settle in, and get to know each other.

Then we'll explore the basics of crochet, including how to hold your hook and yarn, create a starting chain, make simple stitches, and begin a small project.

There's no pressure to finish anything or get every stitch perfect. This is about trying something new, having fun, and learning at your own pace.

Everyone receives a beginner crochet kit to keep, including yarn, a crochet hook, and simple instructions so you can continue practising at home!

Already know how to crochet? You're welcome to join us, practise your stitches, or bring along a project you're working on.

Choose your registration option

Bring a Dish — $20 (HST included)

Bring something to share at our community potluck! We'll provide your beginner crochet kit, instruction, and a welcoming space to create and connect.

After registration, we'll send you a simple form to help coordinate the food contributions.

All-Inclusive — $40 (HST included)

Don't have time to prepare a dish? No problem! Join us for the shared potluck, crochet instruction, and your own take-home kit. No food or crafting supplies required.

Event details

Date: Friday, November 13, 2026

Time: Doors open at 5:00 pm for food and socializing. Please arrive by 6:00 pm for beginner crochet instruction. We'll finish at 8:30 pm.

Location: HealthGirl Studio, Chesterville, Ontario

Experience: Absolutely none required!

What to bring: A potluck dish if you've selected the $20 option. We'll provide the crochet supplies.

Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions before the event. As food is prepared and shared by participants, we cannot guarantee allergen-free dishes.
