
September Strong Start Challenge Week 3 - Elevated Pushups
Sep 15, 2025Welcome to Week 3 of your 30-Day September Strong Start Challenge!
This week, we are expanding your abilities with additional variations on some of the movements you've done earlier.
One of our goals in this month's #healthgirlchallenge is to build up towards a pushup or improve our current pushup variation.
Week 1 saw you starting with a wall pushup, and this week, you'll be doing an elevated pushup on a counter, a chair (make sure it's sturdy and doesn't tip over!), or a bench/couch seat.
Remember to keep your elbows closer to your body (don't flare them out like a "T"), engage your core to keep your back straight, and only go down as far as you can control the movement.
Try 10 repetitions each day this week, take a photo, and if you're on social media, share it with the hashtag #healthgirlchallenge and tag us @healthgirlcanada so that we can cheer you on and share it!
